Toddler sleep… when do they stop moving so much?!

My son is 2.5. Still in a toddler cotbed with the sides as I cannot move him to a bed without sides yet or even bumpers

he moves so much, he’s upside down, across the bed etc, duvet always comes off and he gets cold. What age do they calm down a bit?

My kids are 6 and 10 and still move about constantly! You don’t know how you’ll find DD on any given night but she has bunk beds with a side rail and doesn’t fall out. DS cosleeps and is forever sticking his feet in our faces etc.

Twin DD's are 18 months and have just gone into beds ready to start potty training next week so they can be more independent.

One of them has fallen out once but she was fine and just hopped back in. Both of them often end up sideways etc too, I think it's fairly normal but no reason to keep them in a cot.

DD is 6 and still sleeps like an octopus. I always pop the duvet back over her when I go to bed.

She never fell out of bed though. I think they just develop a sense of where the edges are. She did head butt the wall a few times when she moved into her big bed though. We ended up putting some cushions along the edge!
