My 2yo (27 months) has started screaming when I put him down at bedtime and leave the room. I’m doing the same thing I’ve always done - he’s in the same routine, same bed, has his cuddle toy, never had a problem. Now he screams the house down relentlessly.
Tends to be fine overnight although the other night he did wake up approx midnight and do the same thing. Settles quickly in our presence but the second we leave he’s screaming.
It is really distressing, and exhausting. Any tips please?
