Hello I have a baby who is 14 months old and literally does not sleep he screams tosses and turns all night and when he finally does sleep he stays asleep for about 45 minutes me and my partner can't take it anymore Wer really struggling he was in a cot in his own room he's back in bed now with one of us having to stay downstairs he's always been a bad sleeper but this is next level it's like something is bothering him possibly his teeth I don't really know what am asking here just wondering if anyone has any advice as am literally sleeping myself 2 to 4 hours a night as well as working a full-time job as mad as it sounds the lack of sleep is starting to make me hallucinate and get really emotional

That is extremely tough. For both you and the baby you could make a GP appointment to see if there could be anything medical underlying for the baby, and ensure you have some support. I am sure you have tried everything to help him sleep, I just hope it is a phase he will grow out of before too much longer. You and your partner could take it in turns to take him out of the house for say a 4 hour stretch during the day to allow each of you a chunk of sleep at weekends - you most importantly. Or any good friends or family who could take him for a chunk of time to allow you some extra sleep - don’t be afraid to ask because it sounds like you absolutely need it!
