2y olds bedtime - at breaking point!

My now 2y old was a dream sleeper up until about 6 weeks ago (just before she turned 2).

We used to leave her in her room after saying goodnight, after 10 mins or so she would nod off, and sleep through in her own bed until morning.

Recently she has decided she doesn’t want to go down without us in the room, and is taking hours to go to sleep initially, then hours later she’s up screaming and crying to come into our bed - which we then do, for the sake of getting some sleep ourselves.

Any advice on what we could try would be appreciated!

Is she still napping? She doesn't sound tired. Or is her room now dark after being lighter all summer? Maybe a nightlight?

If she’s having a nap during the day, perhaps it’s time to drop the nap?
