Sorry if this is a boring thread but please can I hear about your routines for your 21 ish month olds! My dd's routine is as follows:-

Up between 6.30am - 7.00am

Lunch at 12 then nap for 1.5 - 2 hours

Tea at 5pm

Bath at 6pm then bed for 7.30pm.

I wondered if she should still be napping for so long after lunch.

thankyou

That sounds fine. Both my ds's had a similar routine to that from about 12 months. Ds1 dropped the daytime nap at around 3 yrs, but was having 2 hours until then. Ds2 is 2.3 yrs and today woke at around 7am, napped from 1 - 4 pm and went to sleep about 8pm.

Up at 7.30-8

Lunch at 11.30 then naps for 1.5-3 hours

Tea at 6ish

Bath at 7.30

Bed 8.15ish

His nap is slowly getting shorter and a couple of days this week had just half an hour. I'm dreading him dropping it completely

Janjas - my Ds is 22 months old and his routine is pretty much identical to yours.

I only let him nap for 90 minutes though and always wake him at 2.30pm - but I am fairly sure he would sleep much longer if I let him!
