At my wits end with my 13 month old sleep!

DD is 13 months old, always been a bit rubbish with sleep and I just don’t know what I’m doing wrong!

Bedtime is always a struggle, she basically screams and cries won’t just sit and snuggle, won’t fall asleep on her own despite trying to introduce it and if she does it takes her ages. My husband can never do bedtime because she has to be held, but like I said she sits and wriggles and cries and screams so you have to pace the room to stop it and then she decides I’m tired. It makes me so tired and I hate when it gets near to bedtime.
We’ve tried lots of different ways to approach getting ready for bedtime. For reference, we get home from childminder/work about 5 so I then do her some dinner and then get ready for bed about 6:30. At the moment it’s pyjamas on first, come down for a bottle of milk and say night to daddy, go up get sleeping bag on but she just screams when the milk finishes (despite having dinner like an hour ago) and then does all the above when we get into her bedroom.

Similar at nap time, some days has one nap other days has two naps but still can be resistant to them unless we’re out and about for a long time.

I just hate everything relating to her sleep at the minute because it nots peaceful, it’s not pleasant it’s a case of get her asleep and pray she stays asleep!

I don’t know what else to try, tbh I think she’s not getting enough sleep but when she does eventually go to sleep at about 7:15/7:30pm she wakes up between 5am and 6am. Ideally I’d like her to be asleep and I wake her up at 6:30 for the childminder.
She just always seems tired and cranky. Any advice welcome!
