How does she fall asleep usually?

I dont understand the issue? You're describing a usual pattern of c13 hours sleep in 24 hours. That's within the normal range.

If she's not falling asleep til after 10, waking up at 6.30 and having a 2 hour nap that's more like 10 hours in 24 which is pretty low.

If she’s content and just laying quietly until falling asleep I wouldn’t worry. One of mine woke often and just laid staring until drifting back off again. At 18m if she’s having a solid 2 hour nap midday and down for the night at 7 to 7.30 that sounds good to me.

Try not to watch the monitor too much, as adults there’s periods we wake up and go back off to sleep, as long as she isn’t crying or distressed it’s a non issue.

That sounds normal - mine used to do 11 hrs/night and 2 hrs in the day at that age. DS dropped his nap just after 2nd bday & if he got even 20 mins in the car he would be up until 10/11pm.

I have an 18 month old who has always had low sleep needs compared to my other 2 kids. He tends to have an hour/ hour and a half during the day but sometimes a lot less if we are doing something but doesn't go to bed until 8:30 and wakes around 7:45 each morning. If it’s the early rising thats the issue then she might have to go to bed later so depends what you prefer.

Oh - I was reading time asleep as 7.30pm.

My 18 month old usually sleeps 8ish -5.30ish with a 1h30 nap. It's hard going but i think that's just...how much sleep he needs?
