Hi everyone
My 14 month old LO has not napped all day.
woke up at 06:30am
She didn’t refuse them but we are out visiting family and she usually naps in a dark room fed to sleep, will not sleep anywhere else - so we were already out of the comfort zone in a not very dark room anyway finally got to sleep at about 5 hours awake then disturbed by her cousin 10 minutes in.
Hasn't been able to sleep since

WHAT ON EARTH DO I DO? I’m so worried about her we are leaving to travel home now but she does not like the car :(

Do I try for a nap at home and a later bedtime? Do I bring bed time extremely early? How early do I bring bed time if so?
any tips would be a huge help. If she manages anything in the car which would be a miracle what do I do then?

Yes I am that mum that worries constantly about her sleep so this is really setting me off :(

If she doesn't sleep on the way home I would just put her to bed as soon as she gives her usual cues and hope for the best.

She may well sleep in the car if she’s that tired
if she doesn’t then I would give her dinner, bath and bed when you’re home and put her down early

When she’s tired, she’s sleep. Best trying to get her use to sleeping when you’re out and about and when it’s not necessarily dark or quiet

Thank you all
She has fell asleep in the car for the first time since she was a newborn!
what do I do now is the next question!

Thanks for your replies I appreciate them very much

We have huge sleep associations which I have just not even wanted to tackle alone :( my partner has some time off work in August so going to make a plan for when he is off to try enable her to fall asleep firstly without breastfeeding
