at at my wits end and need help.
Baby is nearly 6 momths old (a week) and still has 4 random naps. Lately started to wake from the first nap within 5-10 minutes. She is fed to sleep for every nap and bedtime as she refuses anything else, uses to like to be rocked, and likes to nurse for 15 minutes then I will transfer her to the cot. First nap she is waking up after 5-10 minutes being put down whereas she could sleep for over an hour previously! Second and third nap can be 45 minutes but sometimes can involve the car seat if we are out. Fourth is hit and miss.
I am die to statt solids soon, she is also moving into her own room. Overnight sleep usually by 8 - 8:30 waking by 7-7:30. One overnight wake.
Wanting know best way to transition to 3 naps and achieve independent sleep.

I wouldn’t think sleep training is that effective with a 6 month old. It’s more like 9 months minimum.

First thing is stop the rocking. Making a rod for your back with that one. Going to have to trial and error with how to get past that and there might be some overtired scream seshs. Bum pats are quite good. Or white noise.
