Transitioning 6 month baby to the next room

My baby is soon to be 7 months old and no longer fits in her Moses basket in our room. Her cot is in the room next door and we plan to move her there now for naps / bedtime. I breastfeed and she still wakes up for night feeds. Is there anyone else in a similar situation who have been successful in doing this? Did night feeds reduce as a result?

I did this at 7 months, although when I moved baby he was only having 1 night feed. I had to move him as he'd outgrown his next to me crib. This still carried on and I found it much harder having to go into a different room to feed (I do have a comfy nursing chair in the nursery though). He stopped with the night feeds at 10 months and has slept through since. I did find the first week or 2 very difficult as he was noisy, unsettled, got a little bit upset. I think this is normal as it was a big change for him (although he knew the nursery and had daytime naps in his cot) but it is a change if they are used to being next to you. I had a couple for weeks of going in to give him dummy/reassurance/cuddle and resettle but it didn't last long.

My babies moved around 7 months. They didn't even notice to be honest. We just put them in the new room and that was that.
Didn't make any difference to night feeds for us though, so make sure there's somewhere comfy to sit and feed in the new room.

If you can wait a week or 2, try getting her used to naps in the cot (sounds like she's not done that yet) before moving her at night
