Hello!
Just wondered if anyone’s been through something similar and any advice.
my one year old girl is usually a great sleeper, she was sleeping 12 hours at night (7-7) then a short morning nap and a longer nap after lunch. However, she started sleeping in late until 8am, so I dropped the morning nap. It was all going well but recently she’s been waking multiple times a night and although getting up at 8am is so grouchy and tired so I’ve started “playing it by ear” and putting her down for a morning nap again even if it’s an hour after I’ve got her out of her cot. She seems to fight it a little but then is out for an hour or so… my question is have I hindered her night sleep by getting into this habit? I just can’t bear the thought of her being so tired in the morning and not putting her down for a nap, having said that I worry that I’ve screwed up her routine and contributing to night time wakings!!
she is teething atm…
thanks in advance x

As a mum of 9 I can promise you that you are massively overthinking this! Go with her ques and you won't go wrong x Night wakings increase for many reasons from illness, to developmental leaps and teething. Just go with the flow and enjoy your baby xx

I agree with that.
