Toddlers bedtimd

My 2 year old has always gone to bed around the 7pm mark. We had such a good routine with it, until around 3 months ago, he suddenly refuses to go to bed until around 10pm every night. If we put him to bed earlier, he will do everything but sleep. We can’t leave the room until he sleeps, which can be hours of sitting in his room. He’s transitioned to a floor bed so the option of letting him cry in his cot doesn’t feel like it exists anymore as he will stand at the door screaming. Does anyone have any tips on how to pull his bedtime back again? We are missing our toddler free evenings!

What time does he get up in the morning, does he still nap? What is he doing in the day to tire him out? Does he go to nursery?

He gets up around 7am, some days he naps some days he doesn’t, it doesn’t tend to make a difference to his 10pm bedtime! On the days he goes to nursery he will go to bed around 9pm, but that’s still pretty late!
