Way earlier than I wanted but her cot broke so have had no choice but to get her a bed (she's 18 months).

I'm soooo not looking forward to tonight if DD1 was anything to go by

No, it's a toddler bed so she's pretty low to the floor. DD1 has the same bed and DD2 gets in and out of it perfectly well.
Have put a stairgate up in case she gets up in the night and is wobbly near the stairs ....

Trouble is DD's share a room so I doubt there'll be much sleeping

Really .... I am dreading it

I'm so tired myself, could just do with an early night and know it wont happen

Thanks Kerrymum but being 7 months pregant and working full time I could really do without the broken sleep and tantrums at bedtime but ho hum .... fingers crossed she gets the hang of it really quickly

Well DD2 was an absolute angel

She did get out of her bed and play but that was to be expected but by 8.30 she was fast asleep, she woke up one at about 1am (not sure if she tried to get out of bed or fell onto the cushions I'd laid on the floor) and ten not another peep until 7am.

Very proud mummy
