Bedside crib/space saving cot

LO is currently in a first edition old snuzpod but is already getting too big as they are near 80cm long and are waking themselves up banging their head on the top of it as they kick up through the night. Also finding it narrowish.

Had a quick Google but got overwhelmed so looking for recommendations...

A longer than 100cm crib that isn't quite a full sized cot - prefer one that has the possibility of dropping the mattress for when little one starts sitting. I have seen travel cribs that offer this but they all look very bulky. We don't yet have the space for that in our room. (hope to keep little one in our room as long as possible again due to space/room constraints at present)

What length do you mean by full size? We currently have 3 cots / cotbeds in our house. DD1 had a 140x70cm cot when she was little which is currently in toddler bed mode for her. That's very big and what i think of as full size.

Then for DD2, we bought a 120x60cm mini cotbed. It has two levels for the mattress and you can take one side off to make it a bed if needed. That one is in her room but she has never slept in it as we coslept due to her terrible sleep. There are loads of cots that size out there but we have this one. I don't like it as much as DD1s though as it is very low to the floor - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0D7PRZPJL?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title&th=1 Ikea also do a basic cot this size and John Lewis too.

We also bought a chicco next2me forever for her to sleep in our room. That is like a massive next2me which lasts to 22kg. It is about 120x75cm so slightly wider than the above but not as long as a full size cotbed if length is the issue. Converts to a floor bed and can be used away from the bed as well. Has very deep sides but mesh so I think DD2 prefers it to the bar style cot. Fits nicely in our room and has adjustable legs so we had it level with our bed which seemed to help DD adjust. I really like it. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Chicco-Next2Me-Forever-Co-Sleeping-Crib/dp/B0CRS76M9T?ref_=ast_sto_dp

That's what I mean.

Our cot bed is huge, full toddler bed sized and very bulky for floor space especially in our current room layout.
