6 month old waking up 1am and 3am every night!

Anyone have any knowledge as to why our 6 month old may be waking up at exactly 1:30am and 3am every single night? And if so, how we can help him sleep through the night? Or even just one wake up.

Sometimes he feeds a lot at these wake ups (breastfeeding) and sometimes literally less than a minute and he's back to sleep.

It just feels like he literally has an internal alarm clock for these exact times.

Thanks!

Oooooo I feel for you. It’s so hot at the moment and probably hungry / thirsty. Mine was a bit older but I used to give a bit of water too when they were obviously thirsty. Nappy feeling wet? Also I swear sleeping with no bright lights / black out curtains helps. What instantly helped mine with sleep was baby banana porridge before bedtime. Good luck hope you manage to catch up on some zzzzz
