3.5 mo doesn't nap for me

3.5 month old baby only naps for DH

Sleep Context

  • Always gone to bed late, 10pm ish, but started to sleep through the night (6+ hrs) very early on
  • Now wakes up at least once each night. Only settled when fed and rocked. Usually can't go back to sleep unless we bring him into bed with us*.
  • Both of us can rock him to sleep after a feed.

Napping - The Issue

  • Never naps during the week days
  • No longer feeds to sleep (although is a long and lazy feeder)
  • I've tried to rock, sing, read, play, walk, use the recommended wake windows etc
  • He settles but never closes his eyes!
  • As soon as DH gets home, DS basically conks out in his arms and has a 1-3 hrs nap (arms then bouncer for the last 30 min while we eat dinner).
  • I feel like his massive nap contributes to his early wake up as it's so hard to get him back to sleep.

Am I doing something wrong?
Just want at least 1 nap so I can eat something proper and so he has a better night routine! No family nearby to help.

* One of us stays awake and watches him. It's usually 4/5 am so we're quite awake by then.

Additional info

  • Exclusively breastfed
  • Crib transfers almost always end up with him wide awake
  • I feel like I stay pretty calm while trying to get him to nap (so long as I'm not hungry!)
