Does anybody else’s 2 month old sleep for 10 minutes?

I’m just wondering if anybody’s child sleeps for around 10 minutes when they’re napping ? I’ve tried everything to dark noise as she doesn’t like white noise, making the room dark, putting her where she sleeps of a night time and also contact naps & swaddling but doesn’t seem to work. I mean I’m not complaining because I love spending time with her and she’s started smiling and cooing but everyone else’s babies seem to sleep most of the day and she’s been so alert from 2 weeks old, she fights her sleep and screams the house down if she’s not looking around lol she’s definitely going to be the boss of this house😂

How much sleep does she get in 24 hours?

around 9 and half hours the most it’s been like this from when she turned 3 weeks old, she doesn’t like to miss out on anything haha

I’d feed her a bit more and have her sleep on me for naps but I was an extraordinarily lazy mum. Busy babies are delightful.

I will do thank you ! she’s currently on 6 ounces at the moment so I will try that her dad was on about 11 ounces at her age and nearly a stone so she must take after him 😂 I’ve got a 6 year old who runs me up the wall so it’s hard trying to balance time with him as well

My DC3 was like this with the 10 minute cat naps. He's 8 months now and gradually started napping much better. Today he had 20 minutes morning nap in the pram - that would have been longer except I woke him to take him into a baby group. And then 1.5hrs afternoon nap in his cot bed (which is in our bedroom).

That being said he still has a lot less sleep overall than the guides all say, but he's generally a happy and bright little soul, so he must just have low sleep needs. Sleeps awfully overnight though which is utterly grim. But I know it won't last for ever.
