Refusing bottle & teething so no sleep 😫

LO is 4 months old and just started teething (I know 4 months is early but she has pink cheeks, dribbling like crazy, reddish gums and is gumming everything she can). This has coincided with her refusing the bottle which she had previously been taking one feed a day since birth from by husband. This feed allowed me to get a good head start on sleep so I’m gutted it’s gone!

we’ve tried getting her back to the bottle by changing the bottle, the person, the position, the environment, the time, milk vs formula but nothing has worked.

She’s up pretty much every hour for a feed or comfort and it’s all on me. I’m absolutely shattered. She’s had previously on occasion been able to sleep 4-5 hrs at a time but now I feel lucky with 2 hr stretches.

I know teething is not forever but would love to know if others have had teething break the relationship with the bottle and whether you managed to get them back on and how.

Have you given pain medication?

Have you given pain medication?

She’s had baby ibuprofen and calpol on different nights. I’ve just ordered some Ashton and Parsons powder (fingers crossed that will help!). Do you have any other recommendations?
