2.5 tog at 24 degrees?

Silly question..I accidentally left my baby's summer 1 tog sleep sacks in the washing machine and they won't be dry by bedtime. What would be recommended to put under a 2.5 tog at 24 degrees? Just a nappy?

My daughter is 13 months and not a chance I’d put her in a 2.5 tog at 24 degrees, even with absolutely nothing underneath. Just pop pj’s on & no tog for the night. 24 degrees is too hot for a 2.5 tog full stop.

Ok good idea thanks.

I’d probably go full length PJs and no sleeping bag. If the temperature drops later you could always pop a cellular blanket over her as you go to bed.

Mine would have been in a sleeveless vest or just his nappy at that age. He wouldn't have a blanket at all back then

Thanks, I will do that. I just she might get chilly with just the pjs! At the moment she has a long sleeved vest and 1 tog usually and she's comfortable.

In this sort of weather, we do a sleeveless vest and a 0.5tog so might be worth investing in one / having a look on vinted and seeing if there's one that could see you through the summer. Then you'll have a spare if your usual one gets wet as well as can be layered up with long pjs for cooler nights.
