Stuck in a cycle

We are stuck in a cycle of 430am wake ups and cannot get out! My daughter is 18 months and wakes at 430 everyday, is shattered and tantruming if we hold her past 10 for her one nap then even if she does 2 hours till 12 by 6pm she’s exhausted and overtired and we’re back to the start.

I’ve read all the sleep training and expert advice and they all tell me she’s going to sleep too early and getting overtired so waking blah blah which I’m fully aware off but I can’t get her out the cycle without either happening!!

has anyone tried going back to 2 naps to reset or will I fully regret this? Tired stuck mum just can’t other mums advice please!

So her total sleep hours in 24 is 10.5 overnight + 2 hrs daytime? So 12.5 which is low end of normal amount. More than anything it seems that the timing of it needs to shift? For that the answer is a couple of weeks of lots of stimulation, outside time etc to shift nap back to 11 ish then bedtime to 7. It'll be rough, as she will be hella tired by then! But that should hopefully result in a somewhat more acceptable 530 wake!

You need to move to a two nap solution for a week or so.
First nap is a cat nap in the car or buggy wherever she easily falls asleep for 15 mins in the morning.
Second nap is a proper nap that ends by 2.30 or latest 3pm

so for example
9.45 - 10am nap 1
1.30 - 3pm nap 2
7pm bedtime
