I have a 7 month old baby whose bf and doing really well with weaning on 2 good meals a day.

his routine roughly is

wakes between 4.30&5.15am
naps 9-10/10.30 - presuming I need to cap this ? But how short and won’t he just be mega grouchy?

nap 1-3 always have to wake him by 3 for school run

bedtime 6.45/7pm latest he’s asleep

be self settles for all naps and at bedtime
no dummy

Early morning waking can be from hunger, room being too light/noisy, or overtiredness.

the first two you can rule out fairly easily.

for overtiredness, although it’s counter intuitive, an early bedtime really helps so in bed with lights out for 6.30pm.

naps at this age would be 45 mins in the morning and 2 to 2.5 hours for lunchtime nap.
