My beautiful little girl is 11 weeks old and has been a dream at night until yesterday when she woke at 230am and just wouldn't settle back to sleep until about 10am. Every time I put her down (swaddled as she likes and down feet first), now matter how deep of a sleep she got in in my arms, she woke as soon as she went down having been fed, clean, winded the lot. The same happened tonight. Is this it? Have I hit the (almost) 3 months sleep trenches already? Any advice for a knackered single mum who it looks like will be running on 3 hours sleep a day would be great.

Sending sympathies!

I am awake because of night 3 of toothache, but I remember my baby nights well.

If you can nap when she does and just expect to be up in the night that helps a bit. My baby slept a couple more hours in a slightly vibrating bouncer at about 4-6am and I would catch a nap again then too.

At least it's getting light now. My baby waking nights were in the middle of winter so I had to wait till 8am till the first glimpse of daylight - it felt like forever!
