Hi all,
We're at our wits end. DS (5 mo) was never a good sleeper (would wake up every 2-3 hours at night and refuses to nap for more than 45 mins during the day), but it has gotten even worse the last month or so. He went through the 4th leap and what we assumed was the 3-4 month sleep regression (nights went from 2-3 wake ups to 3+ wake ups). Unfortunately, we're not sure if he's out of the sleep regression when he turned 5 months old because his night sleep has completely fallen over the last few nights. Bedtime is at 6:30-7 pm and he'd sleep OKish until we wake him up for his dream feed at 10:30 pm, then it would turn into waking up ever 1-1.5 hours until morning. One of these wake ups would last 1+ hours.
We're not sure what to do. We thought maybe teething but can't feel anything. Maybe the start of the next leap? Or still sleep regression? Both myself and DH are barely functioning and we've got a 2.5 yo to also look after. Last resort is trying sleep training but not sure if he is still too little for that.
Help!
