Tired Over It GIF by VH1

Hi All

Advice needed!

Baby is 4 months old and is very obviously going through the sleep regression lol

Last night he woke every 2 hours and I try leave him to self settle but he cried so everytime I had to get up at settle him back to sleep. One tired mum here lol!

So in terms of self settling I'm just wondering where to start?

Do I start with day naps only or do I start with just bedtime?
I want to do pick up put down/gentle self settling so no cry it out advice wanted please.

Also do you put baby in a sleeping bag every nap? So they associate with sleeping?

Baby has a pretty good night routine so he knows when it's bed time he gets changed, sleep bag and always a bottle before bed. He has been really good sleeping through till like 5am until recently :(

Help please!!

Thanks :)

Also he has he 16 week injections tomorrow so do I even bother starting until after that?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

The usual reason a baby suddenly starts waking more is a growth spurt. Have you tried feeding him? Sorry if that’s a daft question.

Hi

Yes last night I fed him the second time he woke as he wouldn't settle (so I knew was hunger) the first time he woke he went back to sleep pretty much straight away.
