How can we do this?

I have a 14 month dd and a 5 week old dd.

Im trying to think of a way in which DH and I can get enough sleep to function. He needs it for work ...I need it to take care of the kids during the day.14 month dd only has one nap during the day between 11-1 ish depending.

DD2 is very unsettled both during the day and night and suffering from what we think could be colic or something else, trying different remedies ie infacol, gripe water etc and talking to HV.

Just need to work out getting enough sleep to save our sanity
Anybody have any tips/advice?
Thanks

DH to sleep in the sofa (at least one of you could have some sleep), put DD on a sling during the day.

could she be having a growth spurt?

sorry for the lack of advice, but IMO there isn't much you can do about a 5 week old.
