3 month old not sleeping in crib!!

Hi All,

First time poster looking for some help about my 3 month old and sleep.

She was a reluctant napper so I ended up doing all her naps as contact naps during the day. She used to fight naps for a bit before giving in. This was going fine and, at night she was going down in her next to me for various chunks of sleep without a problem. She has some reflux so I was holding her up for 20 mins after night feeds. She is EBF, and would go down easily asleep (feet first, then bum, etc).

However, she has recently refused completely to go down into her next to me at night. I have put her in both drowsy and asleep and she will just cry (not fussing, actual crying) until she rests on my chest. She is fine to be in the cot any time so long as we’re not trying to get her to sleep or putting her in asleep.

We’ve been sleeping in shifts with her on us the last few nights but can’t go on like this without getting more rest! Has anyone been through this and how did you fix it?

Does she sleep in the pram and car seat?

She will sleep in the pram after about 40 minutes of walking, but it only seems to work if I keep moving!

I’m not sure about the car seat as we don’t drive.

You're probably entering 4 month regression, sleep in first year is very up and down.
