3 year old bed wetting

My little boy is 3 (4 in a few weeks) and has decided that he doesn't need to wear a pull up to bed. I agreed because he was dry every night for weeks (however having broken sleep). Now that he is not wearing a pull up I would say he wets the bed 50% of the time but now sleeps all night.

I think he was finding the pull ups uncomfortable and that's why he was waking in the night. I really don't expect him to be ready to be dry all night at this age, it seems early but I remember my mum telling me I wasn't dry at night until much much later.

Can anybody recommend a comfortable brand of pull ups? I don't want him wet every night and sleeping in it for the sake of my washing load and his skin.

Do you know what time of night he is wetting? If it’s first thing in the morning it might be worth getting a routine of fast get up and potty any sign of movement. Or if there is a sign like rolling or fidgeting could u ask him in the night do u need the toilet and then quickly get back in bed? Another idea would be no liquids 2 hours before bed and 2 trips to the loo one after say pyjamas on and a very last thing one just before getting into bed after stories. You could
also log what you do what day and find what you do differently the 50% of the time he is dry. I know a couple of kids who absolutely wanted to not be in any
nappies by 2.5 despite not seeming ready and actually to my surprise they did really well at night training so would not say it’s too young. I appreciate I didn’t directly answer your question but this is what I would try first.

Aldi do larger bed time pants and size 8 pull ups. Dd2 is using them at the min as she's not quite there yet for night times

@Holidaysandsunshine I think it's probably early hours of the morning that it's happening. He absolutely detests being woken up, leads to full on tantrum and tears otherwise I would wake him.

It's a hard one 🙈
