My 5 week old normally sleeps for 2 maximum 3 hours every now and again at a time at night but just slept for 5 hours and went 5 and a half without a feed. He only woke up because we woke him up. Even then, he was drowsy all throughout the feed and fell asleep straight after. Am I worrying about nothing? Is it normal to start to sleep longer? Also, should we wake him to feed or not? Thank you.

If he’s taking enough feed in the time he’s awake, if he’s weeing/pooing normally, gaining weight, and he’s alert when awake, I wouldn’t wake him.
