When can I risk no blackout blinds?

DS is just 3 and I’ve been using makeshift blackout blinds his whole life - we have odd windows with angled recesses so I’ve been using stick on ones or similar for years. I’m so done with faffing around with them, so I have bought proper blackout curtains. Put them up and they left some light in underneath and round the sides. Please reassure me that my child’s sleep will be ok without them as I think they’ve been a placebo for a while now…

My youngest has never had blackout blinds. Some kids need them and some don’t. Same for adults really.

Give it a go and review if it doesn’t work?

May the odds ever be in your favour!

Fractionally more seriously you don’t know until you try, but my two DDs (now 13 and 17) still have black out blinds and curtains 🤣
