Is my 8 month old sleeping too much?

My 8 month old goes to sleep around half 7 and wakes at 6am. He then naps from 7:30 to 9 and then around 11-1 and from 3 (I wake him at the latest 5:30 otherwise he would sleep longer). Is this too much sleep?

thanks!!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

No, I also had a high sleep needs baby and this doesn't feel far off from what we had. She didn't drop the 2nd nap until 12 months.

@Block Blast If he doesn't wake up naturally, you should wake him up. Sleeping too much will lead to the brain not working for a long time, losing agility in people. Give him a fixed schedule.

Ah thank you so much - that’s put my mind at ease!

Thank you! It’s so confusing as some people say not to wake and others say you should wake!
