No longer napping in upright pushchair

Our almost-6 month old was very used to sleeping in the bassinet, and I got very attached to the walking naps with podcasts or heading to and from places, and loved the freedom.

We transitioned her to the upright pushchair this week. But she is now refusing to nap and protesting and crying! Do you have any tips?

More info: The first day we had a long day out - she was a bit unsure/looked a little unsettled but didn't cry and managed two naps in it (both me and my husband together). Then the second day, it was just me - I took her out for 3 short walks to help get her accomstomed, which I think helped as she looked more like she was enjoying it while awake, and had the naps at home. But today I tried a long walk on the way to a class with the aim of her napping at some point (when she was definitely tired 2-3 hours after waking) but it ended in disaster and I gave up and came home so she could nap there. I tried all 3 chair settings and different hood heights and removing a blanket and holding her for a few mins here and there but no luck. Has anyone experienced this and had any tips?

It's a new experience and she probably isn't as comfortable in the seat yet, plus there's so much to see now! She will probable settle when she is more accustomed to the views and the world going by.

You said you tried different seat settings, is one of those flat backwards? If not I'd just keep her flat backwards at times when she's tired/due a nap? But as PP said she will get used to it.
