4 month sleep regression

Hello, my 4 month old is, I’m guessing, going through a regression. He was previously sleeping 9 hrs through the night and the last week or so has been waking every hour! Most of the time he’s not interested in having milk, he just wants to be held and rocked.

any advice on how to get my sleep back? Has anyone else been through this?

thanks

Oh wow 9 hours a night before sounds amazing! That's a good sign you will get back there,
I think most people will have been through this, I went through it with both of mine, lasted a few weeks for each baby. Good baby doesn't want feeding every time as that could then mean you have to wean down those feeds, keep going I think, and if you are currently rocking baby out of cot each wake maybe try to move to comforting them in the cot so you could work back towards that independent sleep

Mine did this. We tried cosleeping but it didn't work. We ended up sleep training around 5 months which worked very well.
