Help! 7 month old sleep problems

Hi all, wonder if anyone has any advice please. My 7 month old DS has always been a pretty good sleeper, I could always feed him (ebf) and put him straight back down.
We moved him into his own room just over a month ago. Straight after, he was poorly with diarrhea, which led to bad nappy rash and several nappy changes a night. He then got a viral infection, which led to tonsillitis. So we've had several disruptive weeks of sleep. He's now difficult to put down to bed, very difficult to put down during the night, and currently waking 2 hours after her first goes down, then every hour after that. By the time I go back to bed, I only get about 20 mins sleep before I'm up again.
Anyone done any sleep training they would recommend?

Does he go into his cot awake or his he put down asleep? We did Ferber method and worked well for baby learning to to to sleep on the own and sleeping through the night. Previously was fed to sleep and held until in a deep sleep . Baby sleep is rough!

Hi @Gummybearmum no advice but I’m in exactly the same boat with my 7 mo; ebf and used to feed to sleep with no issues but it’s all gone wrong after chicken pox and the flu. In own room since after Christmas, pitch black, white noise etc

Shall we sleep train together? I was thinking of trying Ferber next week (got Nana visiting this weekend so want to wait until she’s gone).

Thank you both for your replies 😊 health visitor suggested giving a filling meal before bed, which has helped a bit (porridge, weetabix or banana she suggested).
I am interested in the ferber method, how did your baby do to start with @Ros456
I've tried to put him down, and he's OK when Mobile is playing music but when it stops he cries.
