Snuzpod tilt

My partner put together our snuzpod when our daughter was born. He fitted the tilt to the bottom of the snuzpod & I read today that it shouldn’t be used to sleep, only whilst baby is awake. Our baby is 4 months nearly so now I’m feeling bad ! Does anyone else use it for their babies to sleep? Or should I take it off ?
I know you could say well she’s been fine for 4 months, I just wondered what others have done?

thank you

We have a next to me for that we tilted (on advice from the HV) when our newborn was suffering badly with reflux. We've just done it again this last week to help him with a cold.

It's not strictly as per the safe sleep rules, but health advice (even the NHS website) is divided about whether it's actually a problem and we felt we were happy with the risk.

We had a Snuzpod3 ( so an older version) with my DS, at the time the NHS advice was a 10% tilt was fine ( not sure if that's now changed )
and we figured that's what that was just 10%

He had really bad reflex and we started using it from about 2 months until he grew out of it at 5 months and transferred to a cot

He's 21months now and sleeps great

Ahhh thank you! I think I’ll try and take it off today & see how she gets on. Will hopefully get her used to sleeping completely flat in the cot. I can’t believe I didn’t realise there was a slight tilt 🙈

thank you for getting back to me, hope your little ones cold goes soon! X
