6 month old sleeping on tummy

My six month old can roll both ways independently and has been doing so for some time now. The problem is that she refuses to sleep on her back, which would also be fine if she would roll onto her tummy herself but the advice is always to place baby in their back. When I see lace her on her back she screams and screams until I roll her over onto her tummy, but won’t do it herself because she’s too busy screaming, arching her back and extending her arms.
Can I just place her on her front? Neither of us sleep otherwise. She also has the Owlet sock which I know isn’t considered a medical device but is an added layer of safety.

Once baby can roll then it’s fine if they sleep on their front.

Yeah I haven’t been able to keep my daughter on her back since she started to be able to get herself onto her tummy. Our health visitor said that as long as she was turning her head to the side when asleep not to worry too much!

I had the same issue and use to worry like mad, from birth she would never sleep on her back. Even when she slept, I was usually awake and panicking.

Yeah it's fine at 6 months

Both of mine slept on their tummies from when they were born. I know it isn’t recommended now but it was back then and they both survived.
