Hi, I don’t know if my question is in the right topic. But I’m hoping someone can help me or direct me. My 9 year old son sleepwalks and I always fear if he tries to sleepwalk outside of the house at night when everyone is in bed. As a few times I’ve found him downstairs sleeping on the couch. I keep bedroom windows locked at nights. Hiding keys won’t help as my front door you don’t use keys to lock it from the inside, it has one of those safety locks that you double turn from the inside to lock and unlock. I was wondering if there was something I could attach to his bedroom door so if at night he gets out of his room I will be alerted (his room is right next to mine) he has to pass my room to go downstairs. Majority of the time when he gets out of his room I do jump up as it wakes me up but if I’m in deep sleep it won’t like the times when I have found him downstairs sleeping.
