Gran getting baby to sleep

When I return to work in a few weeks my little one is going to nursery in the morning and my mum is having them in the afternoon.
Nursery have managed to get him to sleep a few times (he’s been for a few weeks to get used to it before I’m back at work )but he’s quite often too interested in what’s going on to sleep.
Hes BF and with me tends to want to feed to sleep for naps but can sleep all night.
Had anyone got any advise on how I can support my mum getting him to sleep?

She will try a longer walk back from nursery to see if he’ll fall asleep in the pram but he rarely sleeps in the pram for me.

if he’s tired enough, he should sleep in the pram especially after a morning busy at nursery, mine is breastfed to sleep for naps but I’ve just managed to put him down for the first time ever today whilst he’s still awake , he’s gone to sleep but think it’s cause he’s been playing all morning so he was so tired!! Also, try the momcozy hip carrier, if your mum needs to rock him to sleep, it’s very useful for back support without having him attached completely , so easy to transfer X

Have you asked your mum if she's worried about it? Presumably she managed you when you were a baby. I think you're worrying too much. I looked after my grandsons when they were little. What worked for their parents didn't always work for me but I found my own way of dealing with things.
