FTM to a 6 month old!!!

Want to know when did everyone put their babies in own room?

My daughter has slept really well through the night since she was just 4 days old ( really lucky we know)
However she does put her hand out for my hand to make sure I am still there and if I don't get there quick enough she cries:(

I am thinking maybe 8/9 months just need help!

Whenever you and your baby are ready… I have 23 month old and I can probably count the amount of times she’s slept in her own room 😂
You're doing well if she’s sleeping through!!

I feel like I am failing by not putting her in her own room and I am just thinking about myself

You’re not failing at all! If everything is going well for you both why change it? Enjoy having her close 🥰

You're definitely not failing. If it's still working for you keep going.
When it stops working you can make a change.

Everything can change easily and they won't be sleeping in your room forever. Enjoy it while she's reaching out for your hand and that calms her down. It sounds really sweet 💕

🥹🥹 I am so glad I posted the question on here I thought I would get negative comments about her still being in with us! It means so much thank you ❤️

Whatever gets more sleep is always the answer.

Honestly listen to your own instincts over everything else.
There is so much information out there that is outdated, unhelpful and to be honest nonsense. Babies do not need to be in their own room at 6 months.
Look up Lyndsey Hookway and Greer Kirshenbaum. Much more helpful and realistic information on baby sleep.
Your little girl and you seem to be doing so well, enjoy it x
