Baby has always napped on us, or in car seat or pram. Now he's getting bigger and fighting naps more it's getting harder to manage. How do I break this habit?

How he falls asleep varies, sometimes he falls asleep on bottle, sometimes he's rocked and sometimes it's as simple as popping his dummy in! His naps have no proper routine, can vary from 2-4 and length 30 mins-1.5 hrs. He has a travel cot downstairs but refuses to sleep in it during the day.

At night he sleeps in his cot in our room, usually asleep when he goes in.

Any suggestions welcome x

Put him in his pram with a bottle, facing you , rocking him with a dummy ready to put in after bottle . With a favourite blanket or toy .

I was always a bit rubbish at getting mine to nap without contact naps but I've heard good things about the No Cry Nap Solution Flowers
