I need my DD to sleep without BF - quick!

My DD is 18 months old. I BF her totally until 12 months (she always refused the bottle and FF). She doesn't drink a lot during the day, despite trying everything.
She goes to bed about 8pm, then wakes at about 12am, 2am, 4am, 5am, 6am, 7am for feeding. I have tried to give her water during the night (where she absolutely refuses) or rocking her back to sleep (where she wakes up thirsty about ten minutes later). She is in her own room, having been in a cot next to our bed for 18 months, and able to roll over, BF, then go back to sleep.
I am off on a business trip for 5 days in about 3 weeks time, so need to change her routine quickly. Help!!

I haven't experienced this. But would say, try cutting half the feeds ie. only feed at 12, 4 and 6. It must be mainly a comfort thing at 18months as they don't need that many full feeds of milk even over a 24hr period. On the times where you don't feed, see if there is anything she wants to use as a comforter. my ds sucks a muslin cloth!
