In desperate need for some advice as tried EVERYTHING.
12 month old routine,
Wakes between 6.30-7.00
Nap around 9.30 for 45 minutes
Next nap around 1.30-3.
Bed at 7

On a good night he will wake around 10,30, 2.30 and then 6.30 but will not settle without a feed. Stands up in cot cries until he's had milk.

Bad night, asleep at 7, awake at 9,10.30 and this is when he won't settle without milk and continues every 3/4 hours at night.

He has milk at 9am, a small bottle which he is dropping at 1.15 ish and then a 9oz bottle at 6.30 ish so surely can't be hunger?

Any advice on what to do as I don't know why he's waking so much!
Room temp 18/19 sleeps in vest, pjs and 2.5 tog!
Just so confused on what to do anymore :(

That seems really normal to me? My 1yo is very similar, waking twice between bed at 7 and up around 630.
you could try some kind of sleep training to drop the night feeding

Yes I’d say normal, my 11 month old is similar, wakes a couple of times in the night and has at least one night bottle. Is he having 3 meals and 2 snacks a day?

Yes three meals and snacks too!
Just get told so much it's not normal for a 12 month old so was panicking why he does it!

So are you feeding him every time he wakes? If so, and provided be is eating well in the day, you have to be tough about it and just make the decision that you are not going to give him milk at night anymore, or at least drop it to only once a night at first and then eventually drop that.

Slightly different, but when I wanted to stop breastfeeding at night after 12 months (only the one feed) I replaced it with another form of settling, like cuddling or rocking (still caused tears of course). After a couple of nights they stopped waking for the feed when they learned it wasn't going to happen.

Yeah I've really tried. He just screams and screams. I've been trying for ages! It's so hard!
