Teething at 12 weeks??

Hello 👋 My son turned 12 weeks today, and for the past 7 days sleep has gotten so much worse. We'd started getting 3/4 hours sleep from 8pm (even 5 hours twice!), then after that sleep was a bit hit and miss, but I could function the next day and play with my son. Now he's been waking every hour each night and will only sleep on me, although I can easily get him back to sleep from feeding.

For the past 3 days he's shown signs of teething (hands in mouth, drooling, rosy cheeks) but I can't see any teeth coming through yet. Last night we gave him calpol but he still woke up after 45 mins of putting him down, then on the hour until i let him sleep on me. Has anyone else's baby teethed this early and does it come in waves? It feels too early for a sleep regression too?! Any examples of when your babies started sleeping longer? I'd do anything for 3 solid hours again! Thank you!
