I need help 😭

My LO is 10 months old. She has slept through the night TWICE in her life (11 hours). I cannot get this child to sleep. I’m literally at breaking point. I’ve tried every sleep method available, and really tried- I don’t give up easily. She can self soothe, and is great at putting herself to sleep, but she can not and will not stay asleep. I’ve tried cutting naps, I’ve tried letting her sleep longer. I’ve tried an extra feed before bed, I’ve tried giving less before bed. I’ve tried letting her cry it out at night, but she cries until she is sick. I’ve tried shushing her in her cot without lifting her but she does the same thing. I’ve tried lifting her and as soon as she is settled, putting her back in. I’ve even been to the doctors, changed her to formula, switched to an anti colic formula, tried omeprazole. I’ve tried giving her a teddy, I’ve made sure she’s got her dummy. She doesn’t get fed at night so she knows she’s not getting a feed. She eats great during the day, has plenty of dirty and wet nappies and she’s gaining weight, so she’s not hungry. I’m literally at my wits end. When she eventually does fall back asleep again (which is only if you will hold her upright) she will sleep for no more than 45 mins to an hour before she is up again. I’ve tried everything I can think of and nothing is working. I honestly think that there is something wrong with her but I can’t figure out what. The only way she will sleep all night is if someone holds her- and she needs to be sitting half upright. The second you lie down with her and she’s awake again. Please someone give me something else that I can try… I need something to work😭

Every hour after about 12. She goes to bed between 7-7.30 and will sleep until about 12. After that she’s up every hour until we start our day at 7am

I’ve tried nursery rhymes, white noise, the lot. Nothing works for this baby 😭😭

Are you sure she’s not hungry? At 10 months they aren’t all ready to drop the night feeds yet. My DS is a similar age and still very much needs a feed in the night, he’d wake up lots and cry if he didn’t get it. It’s not that common for babies to sleep through the night at this age and sleep changes a lot as they develop too.

Keep her up until 9 and when she wakes feed her. Then put her down again, would she go through until 6? She still needs a night feed IMO

Failing that, co sleeping may work

I agree with PP… 10 months old is very early to stop night feeds. It’s not recommended till at least past 12 months (and beyond). Even children and adults wake up due to thirst and/or hunger and babies are no different.
Co-sleeping others suggest may also be a way of getting more rest together.
Have you checked her teeth? Is she teething and would some painkillers before bed help?
