10 month sleep help!

Hi all!
So my LO is nearly 10 months old, he has always been held to sleep.
He has a bottle and then a cuddle, falls asleep in my arms being shushed and then I transfer him to his cot. This has always worked for us and until recently he has slept really well like this.

He was unwell last week and since then sleep has been a struggle. He wakes up multiple throughout the night, needs his dummy popping back in, wants a bottle and gets really upset during the night.
But he also doesn't want to be held to sleep anymore, just as he is about to drop off he will cry and arch his back and try and strain out of my arms, I've tried lying next to him whilst he falls asleep or putting him in his got and patting and shushing but he just cries at this as well.

Unsure what else to do or try? Anyone any suggestions please?

Nurofen. If it's a sudden change I always blame teeth first.

@thighboilouch How are things going? I’m going through something similar with my 7 month old

Hey @CM327509 he's back to sleeping now!

I made sure he wasn't napping too late or too long during the day, popped him in a 2.5 tog sleeping bag, and when he woke up rather than picking him up straight away would go in and give his dummy and comforter and he would go back to sleep.

If he fusses at bed time in my arms I just lay him down next to me and rub his back and he goes straight off now.

Hope your little one is sleeping for you soon!
