Weaning interrupting feeds

Hi

I posted a few days ago that my 6 month old has gone back to 2 night feeds after a month of having just one (and one random night she slept all the way through)
She goes to bed by 7 and wakes 1am and 4am - 4.20 to be exact every time and I'm I was starting to wonder the possibility that it's habit rather than hunger now as she started to drink alot less the 2nd time. I just don't know what to do because she's now weaning and taken to it very well. I've tried giving in the middle of feeds rather than too close to her bottles (normally giving something right in the middle of 1st and 2nd feed and then something else between the 3rd and 4th) . Now I'm finding she doesn't really want any formula for either the 2rd or 3rd feed. She's just not interested and it's a battle to get an ounce of it into her. (Shes been fussy with her feeds for a while in terms of being distracted, playing with the bottle and fidgeting. )
As it was she clearly needs some more at night and now this is just going to make her hungrier because she isn't on enough solids to replace those calories throughout the day. It just feels like one hurdle going into another neverending and I'm exhausted trying to work it all out.
My 1st daughter just slept through quite early on and never reverse cycled like this so I never had all this guessing work.

I am not sure what to advise but it sounds so much like my youngest son. He's an adult now but as a baby he refused breast milk around 3 months old and he hated formula too. I was so worried because I knew he needed what was in the formula, so in the end I started mixing it with baby rice or rusks and spoon feeding. He would happily drink anything other than milk! So that was how I got through it. He never did like milk and never drank it as a child although he was happy to have it with cereal.

Thank you - I have been giving porridge but that's the cow & gate one mixed with water. Maybe I should do some rice that you mix with their milk and then atleast she's getting it through that if she's taking less in a bottle
