Hey, so my daughter is still in her next to me cot that she’s been in from birth. Size wise she’s absolutely fine (5th percentile so she’s on the smaller size). She has started crawling, and pulling herself up now though when she’s awake - does anyone else’s baby do this and still safely sleep in their next to me?

We recently tried the next to me forever and it went horribly. It’s very bulky and has a lot of metal that is barely covered by cushioned fabric, the mattress is rock hard, and it’s just really big in general haha.

I am now on the lookout for a cot to sidecar onto our bed that is similar size to the next to me (albeit a bit bigger to suit her as she grows). My only issue is I don’t want it to be flush with our bed, what I like about the next to me cots is the slightly different levels making it difficult to roll onto the bed at night.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
