Baby is sleeping better…but I am not!

After a long journey of poor sleep and very early wakings, my 1year old is finally sleeping through and waking up after 6am. But having been looking forward to this time for months and months, my sleep is still awful!

I can get off to sleep easily between 10-11 but am waking every night at about 4 and then can’t get back to sleep at all. I’ve tried magnesium and melatonin supplements but they don’t seem to help. I’ve had quite bad post partum anxiety and recently started taking a low dose SSRI which is helping - so I wonder if that is impacting my sleep? I’d really rather not go back to how anxious I was but also feel dead on my feet so any tips would be much appreciated!

has anyone else had this, and did it pass?

SSRIs mess your sleep up till your body adjusts to them. Just be patient and give it a couple of months and you will be ok.
