23mo waking every night when used to STN

I don’t know if this is start of the nap drop or what but my 23mo used to fairly consistently sleep through the night from 18mo unless ill but for the last 2-3 weeks he’s been waking once per night every night and I don’t know what to do. Don’t get me wrong, once per night isn’t horrendous. He used to wake hourly! But I’d still love for him to go back to STN.

He recently started waking pre-6am and sleeping less than 9.5hrs a night too but I pushed his bedtime back a bit more, which seems to have helped both things. He sleeps closer to 10hrs again now which is his norm. But the wake up hasn’t shifted. It’s always between 12.30-1.30am. He doesn’t have milk in the night. We just go in, settle him back down and he’s normally asleep again fairly quickly.

He isn’t fighting his nap. I normally wake him after an hour and he’s normally pretty unhappy about it. He sleeps 12.30-1.30pm and bedtime is between 8-8.30pm.

Anyone have any ideas?
