How long does the 9 month regression go on for!?

Hi

my 9 month old sleep has gone to absolute pot and I have no idea how to sort it out. For context, baby is quite high needs, has never napped more than 30 minutes at a time since about 3 months, he was generally an ok sleeper during the night, would wake once etc gets himself to sleep, in own room etc etc

this last month he is up 4/5 times a night, not for anything in particular I don’t think, he’ll sit up and cry, I have to go back in to put him back down, dummy back in and then sometimes back to sleep…sometimes not. I’ve reintroduced a bottle in the night as it puts him back to sleep but it’s a last resort as I feel like I’m going backwards.

this has been going on for a month now and I’m exhausted and fed up. He never seems completely happy in the day and I honestly think it’s because he’s tired all the time. I have tried everything to make him nap longer and nothing works. He woke at 2pm, 20 minutes into his nap so now he’s gone to bed early otherwise it’s just painful for everyone.

is there anything else I can do to help him? I understand there’s a lot of changes going on for him, we’re active in the day, practising his new skills etc etc it just seems soooo relentless at the minute!

My 9 month old is the same. Interested to see what advice people have? We battle every day nap and night nap to get him down. Day time is the worse, as soon as I put him down he rolls over, wakes up and stands in his cot. It's exhausting!

Hi!

no advice, the only thing I could do was wait and he improved on his own. He has ‘nearly’ gone back to his usual self, albeit still abit clingy and night times can still be hit and miss but no where near as bad as what he was.

generally his day time naps are an hour each ‘sometimes’ but it is a lot better!!

it’s really hard, I get it, I bloody hated every second 😂
