Hi.

In need of desperate advise please.

My bubs was born 15th March. So makes her almost 7 months by months. Probably 7 months by weeks.

We had some early waking. From 4am onwards she is stirring and unsettled and needs some input.
She's not cold.
She's in pitch black.
She has white noise.
She drinks 26oz to 30oz in 24 hour period.
will do a quick nappy change if she wakes abd some teething gel (no teeth and herbal teething gel)

I was wondering 2 naps a day. Would this be a solution?

I wake her from every nap time. So her current routine:
915am till 10am sleep
1230 till 2pm sleep
430pm till 5pm sleep.
745pm/750pm bed.

Self soothes. Generally 99 percent connects sleep cycles

Any suggestions please?

could be worth a go, babies tend to drop to 2 naps 7-10 months and early waking's is a sign it could be time. you might have to go through some time of switching between 2 and 3 nap days.
my boy was 8 months when he switched, however was showing signs for a couple week before. he was so hard to get down for his third nap and then we'd cap it at 30 mins and he was grumpy for the rest of the evening. We had also maxed out the day by stretching wake windows, up earlier and bed later etc, it was time. he's always liked being on a schedule so I worked out the new schedule and one day just tried it. it was hard for the first week or so as he was sooooo tired before nap time staying awake longer that I had to put a lot of effort into keeping him up and entertained. but then took to it really well and we never had a 3 nap day anymore.
he's now 11 months and we are getting close to 1 nap as our days are currently maxed out again and we are capping naps - the changing never ends!

Thank you for replying.

i wonder if she's even ready, 8 months is about right 🤔 Our current routine is:

915am till 10am.
1230pm till 2pm
430pm till 5pm. Can be 445pm till 5pm.
750pm bed.

1st Ww - 2hours 15mins/2 hours 30 mins
2nd ww - 2.5 hours
3rd ww - 2.5 hours (she could likely go 2.75hours)
Ww before Bed - 3 hours

Perhaps we're not there as we're not stretching windows yet like you were 🤔x

She might be closer than you think, I can't remember what the wake windows were before we switched but they were similar to yours now, and it was a jump for him to be awake longer there wasn't really a way we could do it gently.

When we initially swapped to two naps wake windows were:

2.5/3/3.25

Now we are stretching again and they are:
3/3.5/3.5

Also you could make the jump by pulling bedtime way forwards

Our initial 2 nap routine was:

Morning rise 7am
Nap 1 9:30-11
Nap 2 14:00-15:30
Bed 18:45

They tend to consolidate night better and sleep for longer at night when they have been more awake in the day

Now we are on

Morning rise 6:45
Nap 1 9:45-11
Nap 2 14:30-15:30
Bed 19:00

Yes. Your probably right. We cut down the 3rd nap the last couple days to 15 mins or so. She's also been waking at 630am. So I still stretched her to 915am for a sleep and so far all seems OK. Will stretch a bit more soon.

I have never liked a 7pm bed 😳😬 they always risen by 5am 😆 🤣

I will have a fiddle around
